- Future Simple
Subject + will/shall + basic form of a verb
to make prediction, expresing intencion
future continous
subject +will be + ING
to describe actions or events that will be ongoing at some point in the future
future perfect
subject + will have + past participle
will have been complete in some point of the future.
future perfect continous
ING subject + will have been + present participle se usa para expresar cuánto tiempo habrá durado una acción en un determinado momento del futuro
Zero contional
if/when + present simple
We use the zero conditional to talk about things that are generally true, especially for laws and rules.
If I drink too much coffee, I can’t sleep at night.
Ice melts if you heat it.
First conditional
if/when + present simple»_space; will
We use the first conditional when we talk about future situations we believe are real or possible.
If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we’ll go to the beach.
Second conditional
: if + past simple»_space; + would + infinitive
unlikely in reality.
If we had a garden, we could have a cat.
If I won a lot of money, I’d buy a big house in the country.
