When do we use the present continuous ?

A

The present continuous is used to talk about actions or events that are already planned.

The present continuous is usually more certain than going to, but the two forms are comparable.

A

This form is used to talk about strong intentions which, if nothing intervenes to change them, will quite likely happen.

When do we use WILL (simple future)

A

Will is used to express a future intention and is mainly used when the intention is unknown prior to the moment of expressing it. It can be used with adverbs such as probably, possibly and definitely.

Will very often depends on a condition.

Will is also used for an immediate intention.
