Salve vs Salvete
Salve is used for addressing one person whereas salvete is used for addressing multiple. (Includes vale, valete, etc.)
How should you address males (vocative case)?
-e for singular and -i for plural if their name ends in -us, or -i for both singular and plural if their name ends in -ius.
How should you address women (vocative)?
To address a woman more formally, you would say whose daughter they are (Tullia Marci filia) or just their name.
How do you form the imperative singular of most verbs?
You chop off the -re at the end of the present infinitive.
What are the exceptions to the rules of forming imperative singulars of verbs?
You just kinda chop off the ending by heart… some verbs are special, like dicere (which becomes dic) or esse (which becomes es)
How do you form the imperative plural?
You take the 3rd-person singular present indicative tense of the verb and add an -e.
When should you ab and ex versus a and e?
Use a and e before words starting with consonants but ab and ex before words starting with vowels.
How should you express motion towards a particular city versus motion away?
Moving towards requires the accusative form and motion away requires the ablative, both not requiring prepositions.

they’re gendered. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
How do you do the funny roman numerals?
