Honesty, Transparency and Fairness.
What is Objectivity?
Basing decisions and opinions on real fact, with no influence by personal beliefs.
What is Professional Competence and Due Care?
Maintaining professional Knowledge and skill at the level required, to ensure competent service.
What is Professional Competence?
Having a duty to keep up to date with developments in the profession. e.g. auditing standards
What is Due Care?
Taking an appropriate amount of care when doing work, to ensure it is of the highest standard.
What is Confidentiality?
Keeping accounting information secure.
What is Professional Behaviour?
Complying with relevant laws and regulations to avoid any action, which brings their profession into disrepute.
