what is a function?
A
a rule/relationship defined between 2 sets of numbers (domain and range) and for every input, there is one output

what is the vertical line test?
A
a test that tests if a function is actually a function. the vertical line test works because the vertical line acts as the x-value and if there are more than 2 points on that vertical line, then that lets you know that that x- value has more than one y- value.
