Full Length 1 Flashcards
response cost
Response cost is a method of reducing behaviors by withdrawing reinforcers contingent on each response (ie taking a sticker away from a child when she interrupts you).
You start the therapy session by giving yourself and Tonda each a bucket full of shiny stickers. You tell her that if you interrupt her, she gets to take one of your stickers and put it in her bucket. Conversely, if she interrupts you, you get to take one of her stickers and put it in your own bucket. You are using a treatment technique of _________________ ?
