What is a displacement tank
A
When the fuel starts to empty sea water takes its place to keep the tanks full at all times
This ensures the stability of the ship
Usually in groups of 3 or 4

What does a centrifuge do
A
It polished the fuel ( gets all the water out off the fuel) and gets any dirt particles out of the fuel

How does a centrifuge work
A
It spins and using centrifugal force the heaviest liquid will go to the out side of the centrifuge where it is collected and pumped out
