BOOST PUMP
BOOST PUMP
- 1 DC centrifugal-type in each tank supplies fuel to respective engine driven fuel pump, ejector pumps or through fuel transfer to the opposite sump
- L/R feed ext DC busses provides power
EJECTOR PUMP (MOTIVE FLOW)
EJECTOR PUMP (MOTIVE FLOW)
3 ejector pumps per wing powered by fuel flow: 1 primary, 2 transfer
FUEL TRANSFER (L TO R)
FUEL TRANSFER (L TO R)
Selecting L to R activates L wing elec fuel pump, “L FUEL BOOST ON” annum and white “FUEL TRANS” illuminate w/in 1.5 sec. As transfer valve opens, fuel from L boost pump is pumped from L sump through open trans valve through R wing, non operating elec boost pump into R wing sump. Selecting trans to OFF, trans valve closes and boost pump shuts off after 3 sec delay

FUEL FLOW
Range 0-2000 PPH. Display includes 9 PPH for unmetered start nozzle fuel flow
FDU - FUEL DELIVERY UNIT
FDU
- FADEC controlled engine driven FDU provides fuel metering and transient bleed valve actuation
- FDU includes PMA elec power generation to FADEC, fuel heating, and shutoff during LP shaft separation
- provides regulated motive flow fuel pressure to wing tank ejector pumps
