NEITHER THE ELECTRICAL PUMP NOR THE JET PUMP CAN CIRCULATE FUEL IN REVERSE DIRECTION THROUGH THE OTHER
EXCESS FLOW (FUEL NOT ABLE TO FLOW THROUGH THE LP VALVE TOWARDS THE HMU)
FROM EITHER THE ELECTRICAL PUMP OR JET PUMP, RETURNS TO AN INLET SUPPLYING
THE FEEDER COMPARTMENT INSURING THAT IT IS ALWAYS FULL

ILLUMINATION OF RUN GREEN LIGHT IN THE RELATED ELECTRICAL FUEL PUMP PB
ENGINE RUNNING, THE ILLUMINATED LIGHT “FEED LO PR” ASSOCIATED WITH FWS
ACTIVATION CAN MEAN:
PRESSURE DROPS BELOW 5 PSI OR FUEL STARVATION
TO FEED ENGINE 1 WITH TANK 2, LH AND RH FUEL PUMPS RUNNING, YOU MUST:
OPEN THE CROSS-FEED VALVE AND SELECT ENGINE 1 FUEL PUMP PB OFF
DURING CROSS-FEED OPERATION, HOW MANY PUMPS ARE RUNNING?
TWO, ELECT AND JET PUMP PUMPS ON THE SIDE WITH THE MOST FUEL
IF NO GREEN “FLOW BAR” IS VISIBLE IN THE “X-FEED” PB, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

“LO LVL” AMBER LIGHT AND FWS ACTIVATION MEANS THAT:
FUEL QUANTITY BECOMES LOWER THAN 160KG AND THE CORRESPONDING ELECTRIC
PUMP RUNS AUTOMATICALLY
