A

What is critical point Etops= CPE

A

It is the fuel to permit plane to fly from CPE to one of nominated 2 EDTO Alternates-
- with trip fuel,
- 15 minutes Holding Fuel at 1500’
- APU burn if required
- Holding Fuel if required

Flying to New Zealand Airports with only 1 Runway requirements

A

Must have adequate fuel to enable diversion from Destination to Cat A or B airport not requiring an Alternate.
An airport with limited ground capability can be planned if the Destination has:
CLOUD BASE- DA +1000 AND
Visibility- 5000 meters
