Possible Effects on the reader
- Thus, the reader can identify easily with the main
character and wants to know how the story
continues. - This creates images in the reader‘s head.
- It awakens the reader‘s interest.
- It appeals to the reader‘s emotions.
- It makes the reader think about the issue himself.

First Person Narrator
ist nicht Teil der Handlung (e.g. Sarah thinks that the teacher is ugly, but Sam likes the
teacher)
Third Person Omniscient Narrator
kennt nur die Perspektive von einer oder einigen wenigen Figuren, ist nicht Teil der Handlung (e.g. Sarah was so excited when she met Helmut. She
couldn’t believe she finally could see him in person)
Third Person Limited Narrator
beschränkt auf die Handlung, kein Wissen zu Gedanken oder Gefühlen, ist nicht Teil der Handlung
Third Person Objective Narrator
weiß alles, was die Hauptfigur weiß, ist Teil der Handlung (you)

Figuren dieser Art haben wie in der Realität eine komplexe Persönlichkeit und zeigen eine gewisse Tiefe an Gefühlen.

Diese Charaktere sind sehr simpel und haben nur eine oder zwei Eigenschaften. Sie stehen dabei für eine bestimmte Eigenschaft oder Idee.
