A
frontal area that corresponds to Brodmann’s areas 6, 8 and 9, concerned with voluntary control of eye movement (saccades)

pass from here to the superior colliculus, in turn connected to extraocular cranial nerve nuclei (III, IV, VI) and anterior horn cells (motor neurones) in cervical spinal cord segments
