what were the celts like?
the celts were tall, muscular, with fair skin and blue eyes. They were mostly hunters, fishermen, and metal workers.
what did the celts introduce and what did they build?
They introduced the iron plough, and they started building hill massive hill forts on top of hills that were surrounded by ditches filled with water
what was the role of women in celtic society?
Women were almost equal to men. They could choose the man they wanted to marry and they could also lead men in battles.
what attracted the romans to britain?
the romans were attracte by the rich agriculture of the south, the availability of slaves and overall the strategic position as an island
