Navigation Acts- british taxed trading to/from the colonies, 1660 1663 1673

crowned in 1685, he created a single colonial gov’t and abolished assemblies
Years, cause and results of the French-Indian War
(1754-63), causes- control over land results- huge debt for Britain, French lost Canada and lands east of the Mississippi, Spain given French lands west of the Mississippi
Why (British attitudes) and how did the war change British policy in North America?
Colonist first were okay with British right to govern, than british used colonies as a place for revenue for large debt with more direct rule
How closely was the British rule doing its rule?
Colonies were fairly independent
