What is the Ego- Ideal ?
Part of ego which contains an idealised self, based on introjection of those who one admires and wishes to emulate e.g leaders and parents.

Ambivalence
All love is accompanied by the propensity to hate. Mixture of love+hostility- aggression often complements sexual instincts.

Social identity is a persons sense of who they are based on their group membership(s). Groups (football team, family) are an important source of pride and self-esteem
