What is the pronunciation difference between “ou” and “u”?
“Ou” is pronounced with your tongue touching nothing, and “u” is pronounced with your tongue touching your bottom front teeth.

When is “tu” used?
When speaking to family, friends, a colleague(of same rank), and children/teenager.
When is “vous” used?
When speaking to strangers, a colleage of higher rank(boss/client), uknown adults.

Why is it important to know the difference between the two?
If used incorrectly, the person you’re speaking to can be offended and will be interpreted as disrespectful.
