Leon requests a 50% deposit up front. when 3/4 done he asks for the next 25%, and the final 25% at end.
may need to start with 10% deposit
communication
communicate regularly on a schedule. every Friday send client an email.
heres what ive got done, here’s where we’re at. if you need an extra week they will give it to you. if your over budget they may give more. etc.
can also ping on wednesday too; just a quick update on a feature
hosting website
before ready to host:
do on your own netlify account, using clients name
when READY to host:
ask client to make a netlify account, get credentials through something like lastpast, and then upload to their server and put their name in it
order of operations
- get to know client’s goals. call them and listen to them and their project idea.
- > after they say everything, ask what their budget is
- > think about how much you can
- > i’ll send you a proposal by tonight. can we schedule a call for tomorrow or day after to go over it? - send proposal - here’s what i can do
