What are freehold covenants?
A
covenants made between freehold owners of land to do something or not do something in relation to their land for the benefit of neighbouring land - must be made by deed

Examples of freehold covenants?
A
limits on possible uses of the land, restrictions of high of new buildings, grass cut and maintained, no keeping pets or certain animals, restrictions on renting as holiday lets

A
a covenant where one party promises to positively, actively or affirmatively do something

a covenant where one part promises not to do something on their land
