biological determinism
when behaviour is caused by biological influences we can’t control (eg influence of autonomic nervous system on stress)
environmental determinism is when
behaviour is caused by environment/ our experience of choice is the sum total of reinforcement eg systems of rewards & punishment that we can’t control
psychic determinism
influence of biological drives + unconscious conflicts repressed in childhood

what are 2 limitation evaluation points?
- evidence doesn’t support free will - supports determinism
- determinism is the role of responsibility in law
