  • Believes that behaviour is controlled due to unconscious drives that are based on psychodynamic conflicts such as childhood experiences and innate drives
  • e.g. phenomena like ‘Freudian slips’ and dreams are explained due to meaningful explanations rooted in the unconscious mind.
