What do you do if you see fumes during a blow or start before the condition lever is moved forward

Do not continue to blow or start. Ensure condition lever is cut off feather and conduct a motoring run

Condition lever - cut off feather
Power lever - flight idle 
Batt or external power - on
Fuel pump - on, f press out
Start switch - blow and hold until TOT <150c
Start switch - off
Batt or external power - as required

Question 4

If TOT above 150c before starting the engine

Answer 4

Blow engine until TOT below 150 then wait for N1 to decay to between 1-4%
