A

It is a criminal offense to use, utter, or forge a public record, coin, note, or bill.
Also criminal offense to use or possess any forged instruments, bank notes, coins knowing that they are forged or with intent to employ them as true.

Bad checks

A

A person, with intent to defraud, makes, draws, utters, or delivers a check, draft, or order for the payment upon a bank, knowing that maker or drawer has insufficient funds in or credit with such bank, commits crime of issuing bad checks.
Prima facie evidence of intent to defraud is making, drawing, uttering or delivering bad check - unless paid check amount plus interest within 5 days after receiving written notice of bad check.
