Coteaux d’Ancenis AOP
*Red, white, rose
* 100% Pinot Gris
* 90% minimum Gamay with 10% max Cab Franc
* Two-thirds of the appellation focuses on semisweet Pinot Gris, locally known as Malvoisie, with 20 to 40 g/l rs
Fiefs Vendeens AOP
- Red, rose, white permitted
- All wines must be blends
- Whites are blends of a majority of Chenin Blanc with Chardonnay
- Rosés are blends of Pinot Noir and Gamay; reds are from Pinot Noir or Cabernet Franc blended with Négrette
Gros Plant du Pays AOP
- 70% minimum Folle Blanche or Picpoul
- Gros Plant may be aged on lees for a few months in a similar fashion to Muscadet sur lie. Most wines are 100% Folle Blanche but may include up to 20% Colombard.

* To be labeled “Sur Lie” wine must spend no more than 1 winter on lees and may not be bottled before March 1st of the year following aging and separated from the lees no later than July 31st
* Muscadet cru wines with longer minimum aging can not be labelled “Sur Lie”

The wine must be kept on its lees (in either tank or barrel) after fermentation until at least March 1 of the year following the harvest. The wine is bottled directly off its fine lees between March 1 and December 31 of the year following the harvest, and not marketed until at least March 8 -

Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine: 10%
Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine (with subzone designation): 11% - Wines labeled by subzone may not include “Sur Lie” on the label
- Goulaine and Le Pallet- must be aged on lees until at least April 1 of the second year following the harvest
- All others- Gorges, Clisson, Mouzillon-Tillières, Monnières-Saint-Fiacre, and Château-Thébaud must be aged on lees until at least October 1 of the second year following the harvest
