A

Multiply the whole number by the denominator.
Add that number to the numerator.
Write that sum on top of the original denominator.

Whole number or decimal into fraction

A
  1. The “whole” number (eg. 4.2 would be the 4) stays the whole number.
  2. The number after the decimal becomes the number as the numerator and the denominator is whatever place the number is in. (eg. 4.2 becomes 4 2/10.)
