What is the statistical definition of normality?
Based on normal distribution curve /standard deviation
What is the cultural definition of normality?
Based on norms and valves within a group or community
List some examples of members of the healthcare team in the community who may be involved in care after an operation
GP = co-ordination of care, review of progress, changes to medication, ongoing care of other health issues
Practise nurse = wound dressings and store removal
Pharmacist = advice on medication. prepared daily medication
Physiotherapist = aims to improve post op mobility
OT = gives activities to help promote independent living
Receptionist = first point of contact at surgery for appointments and raising concerns
