Dot plots are used to display a small number of numeric points. Unlike a histograram that aggregates data into a few live bars, the dot plot uses narrower bands and displays a dot for each data pointdot plots are useful to display small to moderate amounts of data. It allows to look at individual values with more precision. It helps us identify a range of values and display any outlier.

Box Plots are used to display the shape and spead of data. By showing the median and quartiline information, outliers are easy to detect in a box plot.
