Efficiency = useful energy output ÷ total energy input X 100(if want a percentage)
Kinetic energy
Kinetic energy = 0.5 X mass X velocity^2
GPE
GPE = maths X gravity X height
Change in gravitational potential = mass X GFS X changing vertical height
Average speed
Average speed = distance ÷ time
Final speed
Final speed = starting velocity + acceleration Xtime
Final speed^2
Final speed^2 = starting velocity^2 + 2 acceleration Xdistance
Force
Force = mass X acceleration
Newton’s second law
Weight
Weight = mass X gravity
Momentum
Momentum = mass X velocity
Force (velocity)
Force = mass X (final velocity – starting velocity) ÷ Time
Wave speed
WaveSpeed = frequency X wavelength
Wave speed = distance ÷ Time
Power
Power = energy ÷ time
