The lords day when they celebrate the sabbath it is a day of rest.

The Priest says prayers over bread and wine which is called the liturgy of the Eucharist.

The congregation says the Lords prayer and “shares the peace “by shaking hands .They receive the bread and the wine this is called the rite of Command

It helps people feel involved in a wider christian community .

It helps people feel closer to Jesus as they believe he is in the church with them .And helps people feel connected to other worshippers about History

Methodist services dont follow a set structure but there is a Methodis t worship book with suggested Liturgy for psrts of worship e.g The Eucharist .Services feature hymns ,readings ,sermons and Prayers ,The Eucharist also takes place but not every week.
What is another example of Non liturgical services ?
The worship of the society of friends ,Quakers .It is unstructured and the worshippers sit together in silence but they are freee to pray or speak out loud.
Why do some christians like non liturgical services ?
Gives them freedom
Why do some christians dislike non liturgical services ?
They think it is a unsuitable level of respect that religious services require.
