What is a “monarchy”?
It is ruled by a king or a queen whose power is inherited by their parents or relatives.
What is totalitarianism?
it is ruled by a dictator, and the people of the country play NO role in it.
What does the government control?
culture, society, economy, & religion
What is communism?
it is a way of organizing a society in which the government owns all the properties/ things.
Who are the dictators who ruled the longest?
Paul Biya (Cameroon) , Pol Pot (Cambodia) , and Ali khamanei (iran)
What is a democratic government?
It is ruled by a president and people vote for them.
What are the two types of democracy?
Presidential & Parliamentary
What does security protection do?
it protects ppls lives and protects the safety against criminals, terrorist, etc.
What is social welfare?
addresses the provision of services as to housing, public health, education and recreation
what is economic development
it serves its function on providing employment for the ppl
what is social justice
protects the ppls rights regardless of age, colour of skin, etc
What are the 3 branches of government?
legislative, executive, judicial
what does the legislative branch do?
it makes laws, alter and repeal them.
what does the executive branch do?
it serves the country. (pres & vp)
