Start with the front of the vehicle
The high and low beams, left and right turn signals,4 way flashers and clearance lights are all PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. They are not CRACKED, BENT, OR BROKEN. They are all clean, illuminated and there is no condensation behind any of the lenses. The 4 way flashers, left and right turn signals and clearance lights are amber in color.
Engine Compartment
There are no fluids dripping from the underside of the engine or transmission. There are no puddles on the ground.
Coolant reservoir and tank
The coolant tank is PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. IT IS NOT CRACKED,BENT,OR BROKEN. The fluid is within SAFE OPERATING RANGE AND ABOVE THE REFILL MARK. THERE ARE NO VISIBLE LEAKS.
Water pump (#1 belt)
The water pump is PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. IT IS NOT CRACKED,BENT OR BROKEN. There are no visible leaks. IT IS BELT DRIVEN. THE BELT IS NOT CRACKED OR FRAYED.
General Hoses (ABC)
All hoses are PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE AT BOTH ENDS. THEY HAVE NO ABRASIONS,BULGES OR CUTS. there are no visible leaks
Power steering pump #1Gear
The power steering pump is PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. IT IS NOT CRACKED, BENT OR BROKEN. It is gear driven. There are no visible leaks.
Power steering reservoir
The power steering reservoir is PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. IT IS NOT CRACKED, BENT OR BROKEN. There are no visible leaks. To check the fluid level I would pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it and pull it out again to see if the fluid level is within safe operating range above the refill mark.
Oil level. indicate where the dipstick is located
The engine oil dipstick is secure. To check the fluid level, the engine must be off. I WOULD PULL OUT THE DIPSTICK,WIPE IT CLEAN, REINSERT IT AND PULL IT OUT AGAIN TO SEE IF THE FLUID LEVEL OS WITHON SAFE OPERATING RANGE ABOVE THE REFILL MARK
Alternator belt#2
The alternator IS PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. IT IS NOT CRACKED BENT OR BROKEN. it is heat driven. There are no audible or visible
Leaks. (Only time anything has audible and visible leaks)
Steering box and hoses
The steering box is PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. There are no missing nuts or bolts. IT IS NOT CRACKED,BENT OR BROKEN. All of the hoses are properly mounted and secure at both ends. They have no abrasions, bulges or cuts. There are no visible leaks.
Steering linkage
The pitman arm, drag link, tie rods, and linkage from steering box to steering wheel are all PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. They are not CRACKED, BENT, OR BROKEN. The castle nuts, bolts and cotter pins are all present and secure. The joints and sockets are not worn loose.
Suspension system
The bushings are ALL PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. THEY ARE NOT CRACKED,BENT OR BROKEN. The leaf springs are ALL PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. THEY ARE NOT CRACKED BENT BROKEN OR SHIFTED, The U-bolts are ALL PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. THEY ARE NOT CRACKED BENT OR BROKEN. There are no shiny threads. The hangars are all PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. THEY ARE NOT CRACKED BENT OR BROKEN. The shock absorber is PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE. THEY ARE NOT CRACKED BENT OR BROKEN. THERE ARE NO LEAKS
Front break system consists of these components-
Consist of the Brake lines, Brake chamber, Slack adjuster and Push rod, Drum and Drum lining
Brake lines
The brake lines are PROPERLY MOUNTED AND SECURE AT BOTH ENDS. THEY HAVE NO ABRASIONS, BULGES OR CUTS. THERE ARE NO AUDIBLE LEAKS.
