Euphemism
Making something unpleasant sound more pleasant
The troops were shot deaf in friendly fire (really means they shot their own troops by accident)
Eg. Passed away instead of died
Eg2. Resting in peace instead of died
Eg3 letting someone go from their job - instead of saying they got fired
Eg4 loves to shop - instead of has a spending problem
Eg5 well off rather than filthy rich
Jargon or technical language
Scientific or technical langue used to impress or make it sound like you know more about something
Propaganda
A plan or scheme of communications used to promote or sell a set of ideas
The Nazi regime communications that Jewish were evil was PROPOGANDA
The media were scaring people about how dangerous COVID was to make people get their vaccines - PROPOGANDA
