What is the meaning of joon gun

This form is named for the Patriot Ahn jhoon-gun who assassinated the former Japanese resident-general (Governor General) hirobumi Ho at Harbin railroad station on October 26 1909. Mr. Ito, who was the first resident-general of Korea, played a major role in drafting an agreement between Japan and Korea. Attached to this agreement was a secret memo which mandated that the military forces of korea be dissolved, and that the courts, police, and prisons be controlled by the Japanese authorities, thereby relinquishing what nominal control the Koreans had within the Japanese controlled government.
