A

-British approach, data driven, links to statically procedures, details can be matched against data bases, see if series of crimes are linked/ committed by same person.
-How offender behaves at scene/ interacts with victim (e.g. time/place could tell where they work/live)
-Criminal forensic awareness

Geographical Profiling

A

-Assumed, serial offenders work in areas they are familiar with, help prevent crime, ‘centre of gravity’.
-Canter’s circle theory- 2 types, Marauders (live close), Commuters (travel to crime), infer age/ employment, transport.
