a policy of NOT choosing sides in a war or dispute with other countries

The French wanted to get out of North America so they offered up lots of land east of the Mississippi for the US

A French leader who conquered a lot of land and started lots of wars, he used the Louisiana purchase money to fund for war

happened in 1803 and established the judicial review

Lets the courts examie and say if a law is constitutional or not

A decentdent of JEfferson who established the judicial review and gave the court a lot of power. He was the first chief justice

Western states and Native Americans fighting over land

A Native American leader who led the NA in the war, he was part of the Shawnee tribe and had beef with US soliders

Shawnee V.S. Americans, the US soldiers saw that the Brits had supplied rifles for the Shawnee and were mad
Why did the war with 1812 start
THere was a lot of tension with the US and Brits

THey were fighting for a while and realized there was no point so they decided to meet in pairs and end in a draw
WHat was the battle of new orleans
The war was already over but they didn’t know because they were in new orleans and the news was in pairs, the US won big and increased US patriotism
