Action: pronation & weak flexion.
Innervation: median nerve
Flexor Carpi Radialis
Attachments:
Medial epicon.
Base of 2nd.
Actions: flexes and abducts @ wrist.
Innervation: median nerve.
Palmaris Longus
Attachments:
Medial epicon.
Flexor retinaculum & palmar aponeurosis.
Action: weak flexion and tense palmar aponeurosis.
Innervation: median nerve
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
Attachments:
Med. epicon. (humeral)
Olecranon & post. border (ulnar)
Pisiform, hamate & 5 metacarpal.
Action: flexes and adducts hand @ wrist.
Innervation: ulnar nerve
Flexor Digitorum Superficialis
Attachments:
Med. epicon. & coronoid process (humeroulnar).
Ant. Radius (radial).
Shaft of middle 2-5.
Action: flexes middle & prox. phalanges.
Innervation: median nerve.
Flexor Digitorum Profundus
Attachments:
Prox. 3/4 of anterior medial aspect of ulna, IM.
Bases of distal phalanges 2-5.
Action: flexes distal phalanges.
Innervation: 1/2 median 1/2 ulnar.
Flexor Pollicis Longus
Attachments:
Ant. radius & IM.
Base of 1st distal phalanx.
Actions: flex digit 1.
Innervation: median nerve.
Pronator Quadratus
Attachments:
Dist. 1/4 of ulna —> same radius.
Action: probation.
Innervation: median nerve.
Anconeus
Attachments:
Lat. epicon.
Olecranon and superior posterior ulna.
Actions: assists extension.
Innervation: radial nerve.
Brachioradialis
Attachments:
Prox. 2/3 of lateral supracondylar ridge.
Lateral distal radius.
Actions: flexion of elbow.
Innervation: radial nerve.
Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus

Action: extension and abduction of hand.
Innervation: radial nerve.
