Q

What’s the difference between weight and mass in science?

A

Weight is a force! It measures the effect gravity is having on an object, it is measured in newtons. We can measure weight using a newton meter.
Mass is different from weight! Mass is a measurement of how much of something there is, it is measured in kilograms. In science we find the mass of something using a ‘mass pan balance’
