Forces Flashcards
Applied forces
Applied forces are forces that we make by pushing and pulling objects
Air resistance
Air resistance is a kind that the object that is falling down will either fall slowly or fall immediately for example a paper has a flat surface meaning the air will slow the paper down because it needs to get through past the air resistance but an abject that doesn’t Have a flat surface will fall straight to the ground. Then the air resistance cannot stop it.
Tension force
For the tension to happen the rope will have to be pulled and push at the same time so then the rope will get stretched and will probably get back from the original length unless it has reached the limit of its length therefore it wouldn’t go back to the shape it once was.
Frictional force (friction)
Friction is where to objects possibly rub against each other to make heat that is in between the two objects
Weight
Mass is the amount of the weight so that the weight is what that is pulling you to the ground along with gravity.
