15
Q

how do you work out the speed of two things colliding?

A

find out the momentum of both things, add them together, add both masses up then divide momentum by mass

16
Q

what is newton’s first law?

A

an object remains in the same state of motion unless a resultant force is there, if all forces are balanced the resultant force is zero

17
Q

what is newton’s second law?

A

the acceleration of an object increases if the resultant force on it increases and decreases if the mass of the object increases, if there is a resultant force you get acceleration

18
Q

what is newtons third law?

A

when two objects interact, the forces they exert on each other are equal and opposite

19
Q

what happens when there is no velocity?

A

there is no air resistance

20
Q

what happens when there is increased velocity?

A

there is increased air resistance
