forces Flashcards

1
Q

What is the difference between mass and weight?

A

Mass is just the amount of stuff in an object. It will have the same value anywhere in the universe whereas weight is the force acting on an object due to gravity.

2
Q

What does the weight of an object depend on?

A

It depends on the strength of the gravitational field at the location of the object, so the weight of an object changes with its location
