What is force?
Force is an influence that can change the motion of an object, also identifies as a push or a pull.
Refers to the size and strength of the force.
MAGNITUDE
Points to where the object goes.
DIRECTION
The location of where the force is applied.
POINT OF APPLICATION
The straight line passing through the point of application and is parallel to the direction of Force.
LINE OF ACTION
Forces where objects touch or contact each other.
CONTACT FORCE
Forces where objects DO NOT touch or contact each other.
NON-CONTACT FORCE
The force given to a person or object by another person or object.
APPLIED FORCE
An object moving on a surface or through a medium experiences an opposing force that tends to slow down the motion.
