For Transportation

A

There was no standard railway gauge across the country and railway lines changed at the colonial borders. This was through a lack of communication during the planning phase of designing and building the railway lines and caused a great deal of inconvenience at each border. People and goods had to change trains at the border which wasted time and money for all involved.

For Laws

A

Laws couldโ€™ve been better enforced across states because every state had different law and lets say you live in NSW, and you go to QLD there are different laws, and you could break a law in QLD that you didnโ€™t know about cause itโ€™s not a law in NSW and itโ€™s easier to just everyone have the same laws.
