A plant that creates energy. It is the start of a food chain.
Primary consumer
The first animal to eat the producer

The animal that eats the secondary consumer. Usually a carnivore
Secondary consumer
The animal that eats primary consumer usually an omnivore
Apex predator
The animal in the habitat that no organic animal eats. It eats lots of different things. A carnivore
Omnivore
An animal that eats plants and other animals

An animal that only eats other animals
Herbivore
An animal that only eats plants and no other animals
Decomposer
An animal that eats dead animals, but also returns the energy to the soil
Scavenger
An animal that eats dead things
Predator
The animal that hunts for the prey
Prey
The animal that gets eaten by the predator
