A
The many different, interconnected food chains in an area.

If the number of prey increases, what will happen to the predators?

The number of predators will increase, since they’ll have more food available.

If the number of prey decreases, what will happen to the number of predators ?
A
The number of predators will decrease, since they’ll not have enough food to support them (they’ll starve).
