how to prepare for a food test
- break it up in a pestle and mortar
- transfer the food into a beaker and add distilled water
- stir with glass rod to dissolve
- filter to get rid of solid bits of food

- transfer 5cm of food into a test tube
- prepare water bath to 75 degrees
- add b solution-pipette
- test tube in water bath for 5 mins

- 5 cm into a test tube
- add iodine and shake
How to test for proteins
- transfer 2 cm to test tube
- add 2cm buret solution and shake
How to test for Lipids
- transfer 5cm into a test tube
- add drops of sudan 111 stain solution and shake
