what is the first step for a food test?
- get a piece of food and break it up using a pestle and mortar
what is the second step for a food test?
- transfer the ground up food to a beaker and add some distilled water
what is the third step for a food test?
- give the mixture a good stir with a glass rod to dissolve some of the food
what is the fourth step for a food test?
- filter the solution using a funnel lined with filter paper. this will get rid of the solid bits of food
