- curd is proccesed to remove moisture. It is called cottage cheese
-salting- removes moisture and prevents growth of undesirable miscroorganisms
Ripening- microorganisms added along with lactic acid give flavour

    -Yeats undergo fermentation in presemce of sugar solution to produce ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide.
    -Softness of bread is because of baked products is due to the prescence of the numerous air spaces in them. The air spaces are there because of CO2 that rises as a result of fermentation of yeast.
