To test for starch
Use iodine on bread , turns from brown to blue/black

Add Benedict’s solution to lucozade, heat it. Turns from blue to brick red.
To test for protein
Add copper sulfate and sodium hydroxide to meat. Turns from blue to violet.
To test for fat
Put brown paper onto oil. A translucent dot appears
Convert chemical energy to food to heat energy
