•Hot brakes=risk of fire
•Stop on RWY= space and surface for ARFF
•External fires can penetrate skin in 60 secs
•Park so flames blow away from aircraft
•Strong winds can blow slide, against, under fuselage or block exits
•Turn off taxi/landing lights for ARFF
