What is the role of MRI screening in a pt with previous LCIS or DCIS?
A
Per NCCN 2018, MRI should only be used for screening if there is a >20% chance of a 2nd primary breast cancer largely dependent on family Hx. In the absence of other risk factors, Hx of DCIS or LCIS alone does not confer a 20% risk.
