Make risk decisions
Implement controls
Supervise
IDENTIFY HAZARDS
listing of hazards by outline or chart
Asses Hazards
Determines degree of risk in terms or probability and severity
Make risk decisions
Developing risk control options to reduce risk to a minimum
Implement controls
Used to eliminate hazards or reduce the degree of risk
Supervise
Follow up evaluations of controls to ensure they have desired effect
HAZARDOUS MATERIAL

- Must be stored near areas where hazardous materials are used or stored
4 PRINCIPLES OF ORM “3 AM”
ACCEPT risk when benefits outweigh the cost.
ACCEPT no unnecessary risk.
ANTICIPATE and MANAGE risk by planning.
MAKE risk decisions at the right level.
